Vice President, Media Operation

Location: New York City

We are currently seeking a highly qualified and motivated Media Operations VP to lead the technical architecting and implementation of campaigns for our clients. This candidate will be responsible for working with internal and client teams to translate business requirements into technical aspects of campaign setup, and lead the Media Operations team in executing against these. This candidate will need to be energetic, innovative, technically minded, detail-oriented, and comfortable leading a team in a fast-paced team environment.


- Work with internal and client teams to understand campaign requirements and design optimal approaches to address these
- Lead the implementation and QA of campaign setup in TerminalOne and other platforms
- Lead discovery & testing with internal and client teams around new platform functionality and new partner integrations
- Act as point of escalation and resolution around any and all operational campaign issues
- Lead troubleshooting & resolution with internal and client teams around integration/implementation issues or discrepancies
- Act as domain expert for internal and client teams around technical aspects of campaign setup and troubleshooting as well as general technical questions
- Manage efforts to streamline internal processes and improve efficiency, including solution design, development, and documentation
- Lead the hiring, training, and coaching of Media Ops team members
- Manage and prioritize activities of Media Ops team members
- Lead training of other teams across the broader organization on operational issues
- Manage off-shore resources tasked with various aspects of campaign operations
- Provide guidance to Product team on new features and enhancements

Desired Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of experience in the digital media space
- At least 5-7 years of hands-on experience using ad serving and exchange platforms such as DFA, DCLK Ad Exchange, Right Media Yield Manager, Atlas or comparable tools
- Considerable experience with ad server data & reporting, including the manipulation and scrubbing of large data sets. Preference given to those with an analytics background.
- Deep knowledge of the technical workings of ad serving (creatives, ad tags, pixels, click tracking, etc.)
- Preference given to those who also have experience with publisher side ad serving, DART for Publishers, and exchange platforms and/or site analytics packages such as Omniture or WebTrends
- Proven ability to design, development, and implement process improvements
- Proven ability to build, train, and manage an operations team
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
- A passion for problem solving and learning
- Excellent communication skills
