Account Director, Strategic Partnerships

We are a team of multi-skilled, passionate, strategic thinkers building and managing world-class relationships with strategic partners to enhance and complement our platform business.

Summary:
The Account Director, Strategic Partnerships is responsible for the sales and account management aspects of servicing our bidder clients. Bidders are typically Demand Side Platforms (DSPs) who integrate with our platform for access to unique inventory. The AD works closely with his/her technical counterparts in the Global Services group to drive success with these customers.

The AD has three main responsibilities:

■The primary responsibility of this role is to seek and build revenue by understanding the key drivers of advertising spend for each client
■Become an expert in positioning and selling our business model, inventory, and technology platform versus competing products to capture maximum spend
■Manage and cultivate multiple relationships within and across large, complex media companies and technology providers


This role is perfect for someone with 5-7 years of strong sales and account management experience who has a tenacious but collaborative approach to sales and account management and is driven to be a proactive problem solver.

Responsibilities:

■Act as an internal advocate for external demand clients
■Constantly exceed goals while maintaining a high level of integrity
■Develop deep, lasting, world-class relationships with client accounts
■Collaborate with clients to understand and sell solutions for their evolving business needs
■Help build our Strategic Partnerships practice, including developing best practices, key performance indicators, training material, customer facing assets, and internal resources
■Provide feedback to Product Management, communicating business use cases for new features and enhancements
■Share knowledge with Strategic Partnerships and Global Services team members


Requirements:

■Passionate about working in an extremely fast-paced, demanding, and fluid start-up environment
■Outstanding sales, account management, analytical, and solution-selling abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally
■5-7 years of experience in a customer-facing sales and account management role
■Outstanding interpersonal skills, and a high level of integrity
■Strong communications and presentation skills
■General familiarity with Internet technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, web servers, and other internet/networking-related protocols
■Strong experience with online media buying and selling, advertising technology solutions, and ad network business models
■Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier school
■Some travel, domestic and international
